Maths Specialist Tutor
Amy is an experienced secondary maths teacher with over 12 years of classroom experience and a passion for helping students feel confident in maths.
She is known for being patient, approachable and supportive, with one former pupil describing her as “the only teacher who took the time to break maths down for me to understand.”
Amy focuses on building positive relationships with students and creating a calm, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
As both a teacher and a SEND parent, Amy has a strong understanding of neurodiversity, anxiety and the challenges some children face in education.
She has completed training in EBSA and anxiety, is currently studying a Level 2 SEND qualification, and holds an NPQ in Leading Teaching.
Her nurturing and flexible approach helps students feel understood, supported and more confident in themselves as learners.

KS3 and GCSE Maths
With over 12 years of classroom experience, Amy specialises in building confidence and closing gaps in Maths from KS3 through to GCSE level.
SEND and Anxiety Specialist
Amy is a SEND parent and trained specialist in EBSA and anxiety. She holds an NPQ in Leading Teaching and is working towards a Level 2 SEND qualification.
