Sarah is an experienced English tutor with over 30 years of teaching experience, working with students across GCSE and IGCSE English Language and Literature.
She supports all kinds of learners - from high achievers to students with SEND, as well as those who may have lost confidence and just need a bit of reassurance and structure.
Sarah genuinely loves teaching and has a real passion for helping students understand English, feel more confident and learn how to tackle exams successfully. Her lessons are friendly, calm, and well organised, with a strong focus on exam techniques and helping students understand what examiners are looking for.

Sarah is a fully qualified teacher with an Enhanced DBS check which is on the update service.

When she’s not teaching, Sarah lives in the countryside, usually enjoying the outdoors with her cat called Flash, which probably explains her patient and down-to-earth approach! Sarah believes learning works best when students feel relaxed, supported, and encouraged - and that’s exactly the environment she aims to create in every lesson.
Sarah provides all resources and always tailor lessons to the individual, helping students make steady progress while building confidence along the way.
