Richard is an experienced English and History tutor with over 30 years in the classroom.
He has taught and led in independent and maintained schools across the UK and overseas, serving as Head of English, Head of History, and Director of Humanities.
He has also tutored online throughout his teaching career, providing bespoke tuition for students across the UK and globally.

He teaches English Literature, English Language, and History at Common Entrance, Scholarship, GCSE, iGCSE, and A-Level.
Early in his career, he spent two years teaching English as an Additional Language overseas.

Richard is currently an examiner for AQA GCSE English Literature and a Senior Examiner for WJEC GCSE History. He has previously examined for AQA A-Level History and OCR AS Level History.
