Jemma is an experienced and passionate fully qualified science teacher turned tutor with a decade of teaching expertise. She brings both a deep subject knowledge and a strong pedagogical approach to her tutoring.

Jemma’s sessions are engaging and interactive, using a variety of resources to cater to different learning styles. She incorporates discussion-based tasks, collaborative activities, quizzes, and sequencing exercises to make science relatable and enjoyable.

More About Jemma
Having taught science in a mainstream secondary school for nine years, Jemma has worked with students of all abilities, from high-achievers to those who need extra support, including learners with SEND. She has led key stages for science, giving her a broad understanding of the curriculum and exam expectations.
Her tutoring experience includes working with Year 10 and 11 students to close knowledge gaps, refine exam techniques, and build the confidence needed for success.
