Hannah

Hannah is a qualified Maths teacher with seven years of secondary teaching experience across both mainstream and specialist settings.

 

She tutors Maths from KS3 through to GCSE and A-Level.

She spent four years in a mainstream secondary school, where she led the development of the Year 7 Maths curriculum and helped students transition into secondary school.

 

She now teaches in a specialist SEMH school, supporting students with complex emotional and behavioural needs alongside their Maths.

 

This experience gives her a genuine understanding of how to work with students of all abilities, including those with additional needs.

Hannah believes building confidence matters just as much as building skills. She breaks topics into manageable steps, identifies gaps in understanding, and uses clear explanations and worked examples so students genuinely understand what they are doing rather than simply memorising methods.

Whether a student is preparing for GCSEs, filling gaps in knowledge, or simply wants to feel more confident, Hannah creates a calm and supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
