Meet Your Expert Tutor - Sandra
Sandra is a dedicated and passionate teacher with over 21 years of experience.
A former senior leader and examiner, Sandra brings a wealth of knowledge to her tutoring. She has successfully guided students towards their academic goals, while also mentoring staff and delivering professional training throughout her teaching career.
Sandra has completed full training with the National Autistic Society and has a strong understanding of SEND, both professionally and personally. She is particularly skilled at adapting lessons to suit each student’s individual needs, ensuring that sessions are structured, supportive and genuinely helpful rather than a “one size fits all” approach.
She believes that effective tutoring is about more than simply working through past papers. Sandra focuses on building secure core understanding, developing confidence and teaching students how to approach exam questions with clarity.
Alongside subject knowledge, Sandra supports students with exam technique, revision skills, study routines and time management strategies, helping them feel more organised, prepared and in control of their learning.
