I was once a full-time teacher who had a dream to leave the classroom and become self-employed. Well, guess what? I've been there, done that, and now I'm here to spill all the secrets!
I am now a self-employed, full-time private tutor who has been running Tutoring with Portia for three years. Over the past three years, I have developed my business from working by myself to running a team of 17 tutors who deliver 1:1 and small group sessions to students all over the world! I replaced my full-time teacher salary within 12 months and now can't imagine myself doing anything else!
I have worked with lots of teachers and newbie tutors to help them make their first steps into the big world of online tuition. I can't promise you it will be easy, it's not!
